sometimes you’re stuck.
Literally. On our way back from Morocco, a lot of things didn’t quite go as planned. The ferry was delayed by three hours, we missed the train we’d already purchased back to Córdoba, which just so happened to be the last possible way home that night, and we were stuck in a less-than-charming Spanish city.
But it’s moments like that, moments when there’s literally nothing you can do, that you’ve just got to accept defeat and laugh a little. Although there was nothing special about Algeciras, there was one very lovely plaza, which is the only thing I photographed. There were also a few a small indulgences that stranded night, and they turned what could’ve been a miserable night, into a memorable one.
Cheers to making the best out of the worst situations. Cheers to discovering a lovely little plaza bursting with color, eating the best kebab of my life, and, perhaps most of all, cheers to letting a little bump in the road turn into late-night pizza and beers in a cheap hotel and lots of Spanish TV.

and you got some lovely photos!
Seems you saw more of Algerciras than I did. Lovely photos. I know what you mean about having to make the best of some not so great situations!
