Living in Galicia was full of perks. There was great food, not an abundance of sun, and there was the water.
Maybe it’s the fact I’ve been landlocked most of my life as a born and raised Midwesterner, but the second I’m near water, I feel free and alive and infinitely better.
I feel like dipping my feet in or splashing around. I feel like hopping on a boat and taking off for a long time.
Cheers to water and the way it makes us feel alive, and to the inspiration and liberation you feel when you see an ocean that seems to never end.
